Why Insmed
When your ‘why’ aligns with ours, transformational change becomes possible.
At Insmed, progress is powered by purpose. Each of us brings a unique motivation to our work, and together, we create the momentum to move real change forward. We support meaningful work through science that pushes boundaries, collaboration across geographies and functions, and a culture grounded in inclusion and a shared commitment to patients. Our size and structure are designed for agility, making it easier to work across teams, access leadership, and solve problems faster, together. Here, your ‘why’ is supported and strengthened—so the next idea you bring forward can grow into something great.

Our Commitment to You
You belong here—the whole you.
Inclusion is a principle that shapes how we work, lead, and grow as a community. When you feel inspired to bring your whole self to work, you’re more likely to share ideas, challenge assumptions, and contribute in ways that matter—something our mission deeply depends on. Belonging isn’t just about showing up. It’s about being seen, supported, accepted, and valued for what you bring, and that’s what our culture strives to reflect every day.
Find Your Community
Each of our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) is open to all employees and creates space to connect, share experiences, and support one another. Because when you thrive, we all thrive.

How We Hire
Your interview experience should be engaging, inclusive, and grounded in mutual respect—just like it is to work here. We’re committed to a thoughtful process where you feel welcomed and supported. That means two-way conversations, clear expectations, and communication that values your time.
We take care in how we write and speak about roles to ensure you feel included from the start.

Apply & Review
We know applying takes time and thought, which is why our review process reflects the same care. Every application timely submitted is reviewed by a real member of our team who carefully considers your experience and potential to contribute to the work ahead. Review your status at any time in your Workday profile.

Meet & Screen
This first conversation with a member of our Talent Acquisition team is a chance for us to learn more about you—what’s guiding your next move, your ‘why,’ and how your goals align with the role. You’ll also learn more about Insmed, including how we work, what we value, and what life is like for employees in your region or workplace arrangements.
For Japan-based roles, this occurs during your first interview, which is often jointly conducted by the hiring manager and HR. Interview logistics in Japan are commonly managed by recruiting agency partners.

Interview & Evaluate
Our interview process typically includes two to three sessions, giving you the opportunity to meet your hiring manager, potential teammates, and key collaborators. Interviews may take place virtually or in person, depending on the team and location. Your coordinator will ensure you have a clear schedule and feel prepared ahead of your sessions.

Offer & Decision
If selected, you’ll receive a verbal offer, followed by a detailed written offer outlining compensation, benefits, and key details about the role. We’ll support you through the decision-making process and guide you through next steps, including your onboarding journey.
